Miranel's Ingredients

Miconazole nitrate is a powerful fungicide. This antifungal works by inhibiting production of a chemical called ergosterol, that is needed to strengthen the fungi cell membranes, without which the fungi die. Miconazole nitrate readily penetrates the outer layer of the skin (stratum corneum) where it treats fungal infections, such as foot and toe infections (athlete's foot).
