Miranel's Ingredients

Menthol is the major source of the fragrance of peppermint. Native to England, peppermint has been harvested for centuries and revered for its medicinal properties. The leaves of peppermint are crushed and then steamed to extract the menthol which is then purified. Natural menthol is chemically known as l-menthol or (-)-menthol, this form of menthol is the officially recognized form of menthol and is widely used in modern and traditional medicine.
